Currently there are no certifying agencies or licensing boards for herbalists in the U.S. and at this time there is no such thing as an herbal certification or professional title as recognized by any governing agencies.
At the completion of this course you will gain proficiency in working with the 6 spotlight herbs and their herbal actions and can confidently start integrating herbal medicine into the care you provide for others.
Due to the lack of regulation in herbal medicine, people who integrate herbal medicine into their practice adhere to this code of conduct: they do not diagnose, treat or prescribe unless they have a medical license in another field. Herbal practitioners can legally recommend and educate.
